I remembered...

to blog! So sorry I missed last month. I have been busy with kids' activities and deadlines and life in general, like drooling over the cover for my April Harlequin American, HIS BABY SURPRISE. I uploaded it to share. And if he wasn't adorable enough on his own, he's holding a baby. She reminds me so much of my oldest, who is now driving. *gulp* Where does time go?
As you can tell, from my missed blog last month, I've already broken my New Year's resolution of getting more organized. Sad that I didn't even make it 9 days, huh? How about the rest of you? How are the resolutions going? Kept? Broken?
Reply and I'll pick a winner from the responses for an autographed set of all three Citizens Police Academy books!
Happy Reading!

This is why I don't make them anymore, I never seem to live up to the promise. It's much less stressful for me since I tend to beat myself up over things I don't do. I just try my best to do things different, like this year I'm TRYING to eat better. So far I'm not doing too bad.

I don't make New Year's resolutions because I never seem to be able to keep them.

The baby is adorable and the hero isn't bad either!!! :)

And don't enter me in the drawing as I already have the Citizens Police Academy books and absolutely loved them.

I'm with EllenToo here, your cover is great...

As far as resolutions, my writing ones are going great. They are more in the form of goals and have monthly check in points.

Now my health and finance goals, not so much. But I'm going to turn them around... soon.

Hi Lisa. Love the cover. Love your hero's smile. And who can resist a guy cuddling a baby?

I do make resolutions, but not too many. As mentioned above, they are just too hard to keep. I'm on target with my writing resolutions/goals. And that's all I'm saying.

I love the cover!
I can't remember if I made any resolutions or not! *gasp*

p.s. - no need to add me to win - I have all 3.

Great cover, Lisa. He reminds me a little Dennis Quaid. I didn't really make specific goals for the year. I'm taking them more a month at a time.

Dennis Quaid -- of course! That's why I think he's so cute. I loved him in that movie with Kathleen Turner where they were FBI or CIA agents and he fought off bad guys with a baby stroller.

Not making resolutions or making more realistic ones would have been a smarter way for me to go. I guess I'll just keep trying to get more organized!

And YAY! I'm so glad so many of you have the CPA series and enjoyed them! If I draw your name, you can choose another series or books of mine.

I don't make resolutions either. Don't want to set myself up for a fall. When I figure out what needs to be done and how to do it, then I begin.

I lost 24 pounds between Aug 15/09 and Dec 24/09, and then all hell let loose. I went to a Christmas Eve party and drank alcohol; I didn't eat a huge meal for Christmas, but again I had alcohol; went to watch a friend perform, so ate out on New Year's Day; went to another friend's 65th birthday party at a buffet, so of course had to eat tons; and then ate out today, because Denny's had that SuperBowl free grand slam meal. Jeesh. Throw in a few more visits with friends where alcohol was involved, and you have three pounds I've been working all month on losing. Got up this morning and I had finally gotten down to my Dec weight, but then we ate out. When will I learn? Obviously I'm not a quick learner....

As for the getting organized bit, good luck with that! It is a life-long desire (as is losing weight, I'm afraid). Even once you reach your goal (as IF), you have to maintain. "Life" is an awful lot of work! You can quote me on that, LOL!

I don't make resolutions. They just fall by the wayside, as your did.

You cover is awesome!

Never bother with resolutions -- I know what I should or shouldn't do, and will ignore it anytime of year. LOL And the thing that makes the cover, his smile, just want to go awww. . . :)

I stopped making resolutions because I can never keep them. I made of goal to start exercise, it's been a month and I haven't even attempted to start. I have to get myself motivated.

I have to agree with the others, great cover!

Gotta love that dimple. Sharing the drool.
My New Year's resolution was to move out of my comfort zone into the cyberzone... 4 weeks ago I did not know what a blog was. Meeting the authors of my favourite books has been such fun.
Best New Year's resolution I've made in years.
