April Fool's...just a bit late!

All of my books for Harlequin American Romance focus on home and family, which means they always feature babies and/or children.

Kids in romance novels? Yes, of course! They can increase conflict or, at the other end of the spectrum, lighten the tension between the hero and heroine. In my stories, I hope they do both somewhere along the line and wind up leaving the reader smiling.

In my post today, I'm sharing children of another type with you.  Sort of an April Fool's joke, as you'll see below—although these babies are foolin' around. (smile)

They've been hangin' around for a while, too. And they're just too cute not to share. Enjoy!

All my best to you,

Barbara

Very cute! I did not play any April Fool jokes this year.

Hi, Tammy - I didn't, either. And with my blog date being on the 17th, I've always been able to enjoy St. Patrick's Day but miss April Fool's, so I thought I'd throw something in today.

I'd hoped these babies would get a smile out of people. :)

Thanks for stopping in!

Made me smile. Thanks. What's your next book? Looking forward to it.

Hi, Linda - glad the babies gave you a smile.

I'm thrilled to announce my next book is set in Flagman's Folly again.

The hot rancher hero is recovering from a tragedy that turns him super-protective. The heroine, who has been mentioned in earlier stories, has endured a lifetime of prejudice about standing on her own.

When they become boss and employee on the ranch, they confront each other's bullheaded attitudes--and try to ignore their instant attraction. ;)

Thanks so much for asking, Linda! I'll share more details as soon as I have them, and I hope you'll enjoy the story.

Aw! Animal babies are the cutest.

Did you know word verification is still on?

Hi, Diane - animal babies really are adorable, aren't they?

As for the verification, will mention it to TPTB.

Thanks for dropping in!
